FRNS OF FRNS - Vol 4
nouveaux deuxdeux

13th September - 2024

FRNS OF FRNS vol 4 showcased the captivating Èmulb Series by South Korean artist Arang Choi at nouveaux deuxdeux gallery. The exhibition featured a monumental 300 x 170 cm centerpiece alongside smaller works, inviting viewers into Choi's fantastical world of fluid, hybrid creatures set in evolving dreamscapes.​

FRNS OF FRNS - Vol 3
HELDENREIZER Contemporary

17th May - 2024

FRNS OF FRNS vol 3 at Heldenreizer Contemporary presented "Crossing the Line," featuring works by Will Peck and Eunji Seo. The exhibition explored the concept of lines as autonomous entities, with Peck repurposing everyday technology to create machine-generated artworks, while Seo's drawings investigated repetition and controlled randomness, both artists pushing the boundaries of conventional line usage in art.

FRNS OF FRNS  x Various Others
Private Gallery Tour

5th May - 2024

FRNS OF FRNS collaborated with Various Others for a private gallery tour in Munich. The event, titled "FRNS OF FRNS x Various Others@Private Gallery Tour," took participants on a curated journey through several notable galleries. Starting at Nouveaux deuxdeux, the group enjoyed an espresso at Galerie Françoise Heitsch, then visited Jo van de Loo and Knust & Kunz. The tour continued to Galerie Nagel Draxler and concluded at Rüdiger Schöttle, offering a diverse showcase of contemporary art across different spaces in the city.

FRNS OF FRNS - Vol 2
Galerie Fenna Wehlau

16th February - 2024

FRNS OF FRNS Vol 2 at Galerie Fenna Wehlau featured the work of Sheila Furlan. The exhibition showcased Furlan's 2024 piece, a delicate and colorful sculptural work measuring 30 x 30 x 30 cm. The artwork, composed of transparent organza silk and sewing thread, incorporated 10 g color cubes, creating a lightweight, ethereal structure that played with color and transparency in three-dimensional space.​

FRNS OF FRNS - Vol 1
Galerini Schwabing

20th October - 2023

FRNS OF FRNS Vol 1 at Galerini featured the exhibition "KAPITEL | 02" by Simon von Barloewen. The show, running from October 26 to November 10, 2023, showcased von Barloewen's large-scale acrylic paintings. Known for his unique balance between abstraction and figuration, the 41-year-old Munich-based artist's work reflects influences from Sidney Pollock, Lucien Freud, and Otto Dix. Von Barloewen's paintings explore hidden forms and faces, embodying a tragicomic hope while symbolizing a contemporary simulation of the city with its amorphous backgrounds and shadows.​
